Research

As a licensed psychotherapist and researcher, my focus is on combining these two areas and therefore on applied clinical research.

Of special interest is a better understanding of psychotherapy processes and consequently improving treatment. Especially in times when practices lack the capacity to receive any new patients and outpatient clinics have waiting lists up to one year, it seems essential to create efficient, goal-oriented, and effective treatments. Analyzing routine data of extensive data sets as well as evaluating innovative treatment options like single-session-interventions can be promising approaches.
