Biography

Elena von Perponcher is a?DFG project member?in the lab of Prof. Mark Greenlee at the Institute of Experimental Psychology, University of Regensburg, Germany. After finishing her Master?s degree in Psychology with focus on Cognitive Neuroscience, she chose to further her research in the field of visual perception with a particular focus on achieving a better understanding of neural processes in individuals with impaired vision. Her current work focuses on MRI-based examinations of patients with central scotoma. During her Master?s years, she has also gained research experience in a broad range of topics including sleep research and Cognitive Neuropsychology.
