Reduced loan periods for OTH media

The University Library of Regensburg and the OTH Regensburg Library will switch separately to the new open source system FOLIO at the beginning of 2025.

At the time of migration, only University Library holdings may be booked on University Library user accounts and OTH Library holdings may be booked on OTH Library user accounts.
In preparation for this, there will be restrictions on renewal and reservation options for OTH holdings from November:
University members can only borrow OTH holdings for the duration of a loan period with only one renewal, the second renewal is dropped. In addition, OTH holdings can no longer be reserved by university members.
