The rule of law is a core value of the European Union and of the Council of Europe. What role do courts play in realizing the rule of law? Relying on recent examples from Germany and Poland, the workshop seeks to assess conflicts between domestic and European courts. On 7 and 8 July, legal scholars from Regensburg discuss together with colleagues from the Polish partner University of ?ód?.
