AK Korber focuses on the preparation and chemical transformation of new compounds in anhydrous liquid ammonia in addition to the crystallization and characterization of the ammonia-rich solvate crystals obtained in this way. Our focus is on the field of molecular homo- and heteroatomic cluster anions of group 14 as well as their functionalization and carbonylates.
The G?rtner group is concerned with the preparation and characterization of alkali metal thallides and indides.
M. Bodensteiner's group is mainly concerned with the investigation and further development of the method of single-crystal X-ray structure analysis.
Chemistry students can find extensive information on our courses under the respective working group leaders in the Study section.
Exam of the Lectures Inorganic Chemistry Main Group Elements and Complexes
